NOT ONLY DOES AMERICA HAVE TO DEAL WITH ‘AGENDA JOURNALISM,’ BUT THE GRAND DELUSION OF THE PROGRESSIVE LEFT!

Chuck-e was irrelevant when he was in New York, and apparently achieved his 'Peter Principle' status and shipped off to Washington DC, and the Senate, to continue his feckless record of leadership. The American people sent Trump to the oval office

to do his job, and Chuck-e took away his tools........for those on the progressive left who don't understand what I'm talking about , TRUMP'S CABINET NOMINEE'S! HELLO! ANYBODY HOME?  

And the beat goes on, and on, and on, and now that Hillary lost, the ‘Paid to Report’ Media doesn’t need to be used to get Hillary elected, but instead using ‘Fake News’ to delegitimize Trump’s Presidency. Don’t get me wrong, they’re still getting paid by the likes of George Soros and other outsiders who are truly the ones effecting our elections, and not the Russians, and as a result, ‘Agenda Journalism’ is slowly being discredited, becoming irrelevant, and very close to becoming another animal that’s being put on the endangered species list!

Part of my parent’s dynamic duo in the morning, especially on Sunday morning, was coffee, and getting the NY Times, and because we lived in Bergen County New Jersey, the Sunday Record! As a 12-year-old, I had my afternoon paper route after school to make a couple extra bucks, and back then making $10 was a lot of money, and that was for a week!

That was in 1964, and the same year Edward R. Murrow warned us that news divisions decided that the news has to make money, has to get ratings, and no longer news—but entertainment. So, if people are bothered by the fact that we seem to be having entertainment as news, it’s because the news divisions decided that money and ratings were more important than reporting.”

For 50 plus years now we’ve been led down that ‘transformational’ yellow brick road, but it never really was exposed until it reared its ugly head through Obama’s Socialist dream that he had for America! We dodged that continuation Hillary bullet after America’s Silent Majority came out of

their caves to show us the errors of our ‘Not paying attention’ lives of liberty and freedom that were the backbone of our existence, and the reason why America became that ‘Shining city on a Hill’ for the world to look up to, strive to be like, and where they all wanted to be.

Now when it came to ‘where they all wanted to be,’ that was easy, and when Obama, with the help of Eric Holder, dismantled and didn’t enforce our immigration laws to open the borders, import and support unvetted illegal immigrants and refugees at the cost to the American taxpayers! Our elected officials on both sides of the aisle were in bed with each other and hid from the American people their treasonous globalist path without getting the ‘will’ of the American people’s permission first! At that point, and knowing that hindsight is 20/20, we are in deep doo-doo!

SUNDAY MORNING ‘TALK SHOWS’

The polls got it wrong when predicting a landslide for Hillary, and claim respectable pollsters made the call, but I believe it more to be a psychological subliminal steering  messaging of being part of a winning team mentality, because everybody wants to be a member of a winning team, and using subliminal steering on who to vote for to feel part of that winning team!

When it comes to ‘Agenda Journalism’ it’s no longer become about the policies of Trump and the mandate of the American people, but today’s media continuing to fight to stay relevant in a venue where they been forced to compete with the supermarket tabloids! There is no room in an America that is already full of burgeoning anti- American tit for tat, he said she said, or half-truths and innuendos for a once relied upon ‘Cry Wolf’ ‘Agenda Journalist’s’ ‘15 minute of fame’ driven reporting!

If the ‘Agenda Journalists’ didn’t notice there’s a new sheriff in town, and he’s an outsider non-politician billionaire who doesn’t have time to shoot the shit, but only do what he does best, and that’s work hard and live up to the promises he made America! Trump who, along with his cabinet nominees, have realized the America Dream and living it, and for someone like Schumer, Pelosi, McConnell, and the long gone from America’s political history except for is anti-filibustering nuclear option contribution, Harry Reid, have always been career politicians. These

head up their ass politicians have never worked in the private sector, never hired, fired, or had to balance the books or cut back to financially survive and navigate through the maze of regulations and tax burden laced government oversight! These same Politicians who never worked a day in their lives outside those ‘political correct’ very high ‘Walls’ don’t seem to have the time to walk among the lower 48 states and the citizens that are represented in them! Trump knows, like his cabinet nominees about the barriers that separate our elected official from the reality of being an American citizen, and that’s because they have been rubbing elbows and being accepted by those elites for decades. The problems with government, until Trump and his make America great again battle cry, and first before any thing else, is their own perceived world of reality, which has everything to do with their inability to know what’s best for the American people, and how to create jobs.

We have ‘Agenda Journalists’ driving home one talking point soundbite, and riding it until the truth catches up to it when their ‘Fake’ news item is exposed. Then we have to contend with the ‘heard’ of mimics doubling down to get any scrap that will help extend their relevance and keeping them carrying on until the next talking points soundbite comes along. My point is illustrated in this clip when Chuck Todd drives home his only ‘talking point soundbite’ about the purpose of bringing up the crowd size of the Trump’s inauguration, while Kellyanne scores point after point of relative and important facts, and I don’t mean ‘alternate facts’ that are being doubled down on by the ‘Paid to Report’ Media!

America’s politicians need to make amends to our founding fathers, our constitutional republic, the ‘Will’ of the American people, and to our children and our children’s children for jeopardizing the future of this exceptional country! ~~

THE GRAND DELUSION OF THE PROGRESSIVE LEFT!

I love two genres of music, classical and classic rock. One of my favorite classic rock bands is the group Styx and one of my favorite songs of theirs is “Grand Illusion”. However, in the case of what we have seen post the 2016 presidential election through the inauguration of President Donald Trump, it appears the progressive socialist left is operating under a grand delusion.

In 2009, the progressive left embarked upon an ideological agenda evidencing a serious delusion and disconnection with America. Instead of focusing on two simple issues, economic

growth and national security, Barack Obama, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, and their acolytes engaged a direction for America that was not rooted in sound policy, but their interpretation of “fairness”.

The first case of delusion was to try and make the American people believe that Keynesian economic policy, tax and spend, was still viable. First thing out of the gate was a massive $1 trillion stimulus package that was centered upon what was termed “shovel ready jobs”. It was a matter of huge Embarrassment when Obama sat on a stage with his economic council stating, “I guess shovel ready was not exactly ready”. The fact that Obama did so with a laugh and smirk was a slap in the face of the American taxpayer.

Obama in his eight years focused more on wealth redistribution, you know, we all do better when we “spread the wealth around”. Furthermore, Obama made the seminal statement which presented a window into the mindset of the progressive left when he stated, “if you own a business, you didn’t build that”. There could be no more disrespectful, delusional, assertion directed towards the hard working American and their indomitable entrepreneurial spirit. Obama and his disciples of economic disaster failed to grasp the concept that economic growth emanates not from Washington DC, but rather from the policies that unleash American investment, ingenuity, and innovation…along with production and manufacturing.

Due to his far left intransigent ideology, Obama sought not to get Americans back to work. His design was to expand the welfare nanny state of government dependency. The result of this

delusion was our national debt going from $10.67T to $20T. We have exploded our food stamp and poverty rolls, and we have suffered the lowest workforce participation rate in some 40 years.

Second, Obama and the left sought to use effective free market policy to improve the healthcare situation in America. Instead, they believed there was a mandate to do what they had always wanted, push a government-driven healthcare system. The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act a.k.a “Obamacare” was nothing more than a domestic wealth redistribution scheme, with some twenty new taxes. It spanned to gamut from increases in capital gains and dividends taxes to creation of an individual and employer mandate tax along with medical device and taxes on health savings accounts.

Obama said that there would be on average $2500 of savings and that you would be able to keep your doctor and insurance. The latter was awarded by PolitiFact as the “Lie of the Year”, 2013, funny, the year after Obama’s reelection…and he promised Vladimir Putin more flexibility. The American people in October 2016 did not see savings, they saw massive increases in their health insurance premiums, the result of the delusion of redistribution of healthcare. Obamacare turned out to be nothing more than a huge expansion of Medicaid. It proved unaffordable and did not

provide protection for patients, but a segment of people got something for free. A rational policy approach would have meant Obama and his team focused on the real issue, but they overreached. And as Nancy Pelosi said, “we have to pass the bill, in order to find out what was in it”, a true example of delusion.

Third, Obama departed the White House trying to have us buy into his delusion by stating that on his watch there had not been a terrorist organization attack. He left still embracing the line that Ft. Hood was the result of “workplace violence”, and he commuted the sentence of one who had leaked over 700,000 classified documents – where some had died as a result of HIS nefarious actions.

Obama and the left could never articulate that the non-state, non-uniform unlawful enemy combatants we face on the 21st-century battlefield are Islamic terrorists and jihadists. Obama was more interested in freeing them under the delusion that their being detained in GITMO was an impetus of their hate and a recruiting tool. Instances of Islamic terrorist attacks on our soil were attributed to the lawful ownership of guns by law-abiding Americans. And the left, aided by the complicit liberal progressive media, tried to castigate those who understood this enemy as “Islamophobes” – a moniker created by an Islamic organization with ties to the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas.

I could go on about other critical issues, like a lack of focus on our border security leading to deaths of Americans like Kate Steinle.

The overarching issue is that we are watching the progressive left continue to wrap themselves in their own delusion. This past weekend there were marches focused on women’s rights. Where were those voices when Christian and Yazidi girls were being

raped and sold as sex slaves by ISIS – that group Obama called the JV team, which was not Islamic. If this is about misogyny, where were those voices reference Bill Clinton regularly being welcomed as an “elder statesman” of the Democrat party?

More violence, threats, intimidation, rantings, protests, denigrating, disparaging, and demeaning language from the left will not win folks over to their cause. It will only further distance them from the America that has rejected and repudiated them, the electoral losses of the past eight years is evidence.

The delusion of the progressive left is that they are not conducting a self-analysis or assessment. Their way did not advance economic growth or national security. Albert Einstein said, “The definition of insanity is to continue to do the same thing, and expect different results”. Einstein’s definition certainly befits the grand delusion of the progressive left. ~~By Allen West, a Friend of America!

SOME BACKGROUND ON NPR (NATIONAL PUBLIC RADIO):
Nearly 30 years ago, during one of its periodic attempts to free itself from the federal dole—an arrangement dating back to NPR’s inception during the Great Society—NPR had nearly gone bankrupt. Its member stations had bailed it out, but the price they exacted was high: from the beginning, those stations—a few large, most small or infinitesimal—had always effectively

controlled the NPR board, which controls NPR. But now they got their money directly from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting rather than through NPR, giving them even more leverage. Only these 268 member stations can change the current structure, and they aren’t likely to vote to diminish their own power anytime soon. So what has become one of the most powerful media entities in the world isn’t run by its own journalists, or by journalists at all, but by station managers from places like Portland, Oregon; Charlotte, North Carolina; Concord, New Hampshire; and Carbondale, Illinois. Those stations are in turn largely funded by political appointees at the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, an entity which exists only to dole out federal dollars. It’s supposed to be a firewall against political interference, but concerned for its own survival—if those federal dollars disappear, it does, too—it’s become more of a levee, prone to crumble when the slightest trickle of right-wing criticism starts flowing its way.

Though NPR is surprisingly unable (or unwilling) to give a precise number, the best guess is that roughly 10 percent of NPR’s revenue comes—either directly or indirectly—from the Feds. The remainder arrives courtesy of—well, every NPR listener knows

that voice, sometimes chipper, sometimes officious, shoe-horned into every idle moment of the broadcast day: “Support from NPR comes from . . . ,” followed by a litany of private donors, foundations, corporations, and family trusts. But local stations depend on the C.P.B.–mostly for 10 to 15 percent, but in some instances for as much as 60 percent, of their budgets.
