Michael Moore makes a new Trump prediction: He may quit 'before he even takes office'

Michael Moore, no relation, is one of the biggest assholes, literally, that ever walked the earth. He proclaims that Trump will not make it to the inauguration because something crazy will happen....the progressive left keep throwing out that Hillary won by some 2.7 million votes, and if you add the other candidates the total of votes cast against trump comes to 54% of Americans which means Trump, even though he won the election by way of the electoral college,

did not win! Moore needs another 15 minutes of fame to promote his new anti Trump movie, and in the process bashing our founding fathers resolve on how to protect America from tyranny and the conscious attempt, through the popular vote, to encourage Obama to keep flooding the coast's and sanctuary cities with the already some 13 million unvetted and illegal immigrants and refugees until he leaves office!  Obama could care less about the Trillion  dollars it costs the taxpayer to fund his unconstitutional immigration policies, and choses to continue on with undermining our political process, our Constitutional Republic, our Constitution, and our Bill of Rights!

Obama's disdain for the exceptionalism of America while disregarding and stomping all over our Constitution proves that our founding fathers predicted that this would happen, and built into the constitution the previsions for that possibility for what happened, and what might happen at some time in the future. Now add the 'Paid to Report' Media, both Political Party bosses, and the corruption of the DOJ joining in on the 'Sting' is pretty scary shit, and now knowing what Hillary would have done with that 'Pen and Phone, WOW!  I think we need to build a new prison at Guantanamo Bay to house the whole bunch of these elected officials that are still in office along with the ones that got away like Eric Holder, Lois Lerner, the Clinton '5' who took the 5th and lied in front of the Congressional Hearings, and President Obama, whose citizenship requirement was overlooked intentionally by both sides of the house and congress for the ultimate betrayal of the 'will' of the American people! ~~

The Electoral College was created for two reasons. The first purpose was to create a buffer between population and the selection of a President. The second as part of the structure of the government that gave extra power to the smaller states.

The first reason that the founders created the Electoral College is hard to understand today. The founding fathers were afraid of direct election to the Presidency. They feared a tyrant could manipulate public opinion and come to power.   

Hamilton and the other founders believed that the electors would be able to ensure that only a qualified person becomes President. They believed that with the Electoral College no one would be able to manipulate the citizenry. It would act as check on an electorate that might be duped.

Hamilton and the other founders did not trust the population to make the right choice. The founders also believed that the Electoral College had the advantage of being a group that met only once and thus could not be manipulated over time by foreign governments or others.

The electoral college is also part of compromises made at the convention to satisfy the small states. Under the system of the Electoral College each state had the same number of electoral votes as they have representative in Congress, thus no state could have less than 3. The result of this system is that in this election the state of Wyoming cast about 210,000 votes, and thus each elector represented 70,000 votes, while in California approximately 9,700,000 votes were cast for 54 votes, thus representing 179,000 votes per electorate. Obviously, this creates an unfair advantage to voters in the small states whose votes count more than those people living in medium and large states.

One aspect of the electoral system that is not mandated in the constitution is the fact that the winner takes all the votes in the state. Therefore, it makes no difference if you win a state by 50.1% or by 80% of the vote you receive the same number of electoral votes. This can be a recipe for one individual to win some states by large pluralities and lose others by small number of votes, and thus this is an easy scenario for one candidate winning the popular vote while another winning the electoral vote. This winner take all methods used in picking electors has been decided by the states themselves. This trend took place over the course of the 19th century.

While there are clear problems with the Electoral College and there are some advantages to it, changing it is very unlikely. It would take a constitutional amendment ratified by 3/4 of states to change the system. It is hard to imagine the smaller states agreeing. One way of modifying the system s to eliminate the winner take all part of it. The method that the states vote for the electoral college is not mandated by the constitution but is decided by the states. Two states do not use the winner take all system, Maine and Nebraska. It would be difficult but not impossible to get other states to change their systems, unfortunately the party that has the advantage in the state is unlikely to agree to a unilateral change.

It would be just easier for liberals to be honest with the rest of us, especially themselves: you’re just mad that Donald J. Trump—excuse me—President-elect Donald J. Trump won the election. So, you dig around in our darkest corners to justify getting rid of something that you think prevented Clinton from winning. Keep in mind, that Stern acknowledged that we have an amendments process to change the Constitution if enough Americans demand it, which gave

women the right to vote. And it abolished slavery after a bloody civil war. Legislatures, jurists, and elected lawmakers did change with the times, removing or striking down racist laws and were better for it. Yet, the Electoral College dilutes minority voters? Where? They happen to live in the areas where elections are decided: the cities. Philadelphia and Pittsburgh have decided statewide elections in Pennsylvania, which is the cornerstone of the Democrats’ blue wall in presidential contests. Clinton couldn’t get people excited. The same was true of Wayne County in Michigan, where Clinton got some 80,000 votes less in the Detroit area than Obama in 2012. That certainly could’ve erased Trump’s 13,000+-vote lead there to win the state. This brings us back to why this whole debate is stupid. Democrats, you lost to Donald J. Trump. You lost! He was certainly one of the most flawed and vulnerable candidates the Republicans have ever nominated in the modern era, maybe ever, and you couldn’t beat him because Clinton was that much worse. He attracted white working class voters that Romney couldn’t reach, he got millions of Obama supporters to flip their support, he was viewed as outside of the system, whereas Clinton’s 20+-year public service career in Washington, coupled with her six-figure paid speaking engagements fell flat when she tried to cast herself as a working-class hero. She was terrible—and she wasn’t the most qualified to run for the presidency. That’s one of the most outrageous remarks to ever be uttered in this campaign.

In the end, Democrats lost because they didn’t gauge the number of white working class voters, they didn’t know they were the lynchpin of the Obama coalition, she didn’t energize the base, and

they ran a campaign that didn’t care about most the electorate. The advantages Trump had with white working class voters would erase Democrats’ gains with college-educated whites and Hispanic voters. Hey, that’s what happens when you’re winning over a large segment of a voter bloc that comprises 70 percent of the overall electorate. Folks, Clinton’s team thought that going to Norte Dame for St. Patrick’s Day was worth it because white Catholics weren’t worth it. Trump won Catholics. He won the working class. Maybe if Democrats didn’t nominate a sucky candidate under FBI investigation, who cared about everyone, not just the uber-liberal segments of the country, she might have won. She didn’t. It wasn’t because of the Electoral College. In fact, where she ran up the popular vote margin is California, which is reliably liberal and whose 55 electoral votes were going for her anyway. California is in no way, shape, or form representative of this country. It’s a cesspool for progressives. ~~

 WE ARE A CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC FORM OF DEMOCRACY AND NOT JUST A DEMOCRACY, AND THE DIFFERENCE, PRICELESS!

A Democracy versus a Republic. This double meaning of Democracy--a popular-type government in general, as well as a specific form of popular government--needs to be made clear in any discussion, or writing, regarding this subject, for the sake of sound understanding.

These two forms of government: Democracy and Republic, are not only dissimilar but antithetical, reflecting the sharp contrast between (a) The Majority Unlimited, in a Democracy, lacking any legal safeguard of the rights of The Individual and The Minority, and (b) The Majority Limited, in a Republic under a written Constitution safeguarding the rights of The Individual and The Minority; as we shall now see.

A Democracy!

The chief characteristic and distinguishing feature of a Democracy is: Rule by Omnipotent Majority. In a Democracy, The Individual, and any group of Individuals composing any Minority, have no protection against the unlimited power of The Majority. It is a case of Majority-over-Man.

Democracy, as a form of government, is utterly repugnant to--is the very antithesis of--the

traditional American system: that of a Republic, and its underlying philosophy, as expressed in essence in the Declaration of Independence with primary emphasis upon the people’s forming their government so as to permit them to possess only "just powers" (limited powers) in order to make and keep secure the God-given, unalienable rights of each and every Individual and therefore of all groups of Individuals.

A Republic!

A Republic, on the other hand, has a very different purpose and an entirely different form, or system, of government. Its purpose is to control The Majority strictly, as well as all others among the people, primarily to protect The Individual’s God-given, unalienable rights and therefore for the protection of the rights of The Minority, of all minorities, and the liberties of people in general. The definition of a Republic is: a constitutionally limited government of the representative type, created by a written Constitution--adopted by the people and changeable (from its

original meaning) by them only by its amendment--with its powers divided between three separate Branches: Executive, Legislative and Judicial. Here the term "the people" means, of course, the electorate.

This system of Constitution-making, for establishing constitutionally limited government, is designed to put into practice the principle of the Declaration of Independence: that the people form their governments and grant to them only "just powers," limited powers, in order primarily

to secure (to make and keep secure) their God-given, unalienable rights. The American philosophy and system of government thus bar equally the "snob-rule" of a governing Elite and the "mob-rule" of an Omnipotent Majority. This is designed, above all else, to preclude the existence in America of any governmental power capable of being misused to violate The Individual’s rights--to endanger the people’s liberties.

Hillary has lied so much over her 30 years that she’s become delusional and out of touch with reality, and like Obama, a psychopath! A month later Hillary, who would have changed the 1^st and 2^nd Amendment, continues to blame ‘fake news’ for her loss, but still not recognizing the fact that she self-destructed and only has herself and her ‘holier than thou’ persona, to blame She is not only in denial but keeps parading her continued worthless and rejected Obama agenda to Americans who already figured out her corrupt and deceptive game, and got back at her at the polls this past November 8th.

Both Obama and Hillary looked down on the ‘Will’ of the American people and tried to tell us who we are, but what they didn’t realize is that silent majority got up off their couches, dusted off their forgotten right to vote, and became a big part of fueling the Trump Train!

American’s, contrary to what these two Alinskyites think, walk softly and carry a big stick, and when push comes to shove, know how to use it, and where to go and what to do to make America again! ~~

Harry....Influence Peddling Is All in The Family!

I don’t know if you saw the retirement speech by Harry Reid, another anti-American elected official who became a multi-millionaire by just being in office, and having 4 sons. There’s the way things LOOK…and the way things really ARE.  Either way, Harry Reid’s family of sons making their careers as lobbyists reeks of political opportunism.  Didn’t one want to be a Fireman?  A Doctor?

A decade ago, the Los Angeles Times was the first to investigate Senator Harry Reid noting that THREE of Reid’s FOUR sons at the time were LOBBYISTS.  Each Reid boy worked for Nevada’s largest law firm, Lionel, Sawyer & Collins. All of them have benefited from Reid’s position.

“Harry Reid is in a class by himself. One of his sons and his son-in-law lobby in Washington for

companies, trade groups and municipalities seeking Reid’s help in the Senate. A second son has lobbied in Nevada for some of those same interests, and a third has represented a couple of them as a litigator.

How often do ALL the sons of a Senator work for the same law firm? In Nevada...they have.

In the last four years alone, their firms have collected more than $2 million in lobbying fees from special interests that were represented by the kids and helped by the senator in Washington. Apparently, such activities are not illegal. They should be. Harry Reid has four sons who all work for Nevada’s largest law firm, Lionel, Sawyer & Collins. All of them have benefited by Reid.”

Rory Reid and Harry....Influence Peddling Is All in The Family!

Following the Times story, media-sensitive Senator Reid banned all family lobbying from his office. HOW TRANSPARENT!  Now, over a decade later a new story of “favoring family” has emerged because Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is now backing ENN Mojave Energy LLC.  A most important client of his son…RORY.  From Western Center for Journalism blog:

“Reid is pushing for a Chinese company he played a key role in recruiting to Nevada, ENN Mojave Energy LLC. The company plans a billion-dollar solar energy manufacturing and generating plant near Laughlin, but an ambitious development schedule is being threatened by a lack of green

power customers.

Steve Tetreault quoted Reid as saying the project “would start tomorrow if NV Energy would purchase the power,” but the company “has not been willing to work on this and that’s such a shame.”

The most recent, and perhaps the most blatant example of Senator Reid using his influence has been reported by the LAS VEGAS SUN.  Suddenly, son Josh Reid becomes the “favorite” for the job of City Attorney in Henderson, even over the CITY ATTORNEY:

“According to the Las Vegas Sun, in January 2012, Reid’s son, Josh received a $200,000 a year job as City Attorney, because his father made some “calls.”  The other candidate for city attorney, was the interim CITY ATTORNEY!

“In a controversial vote that one resident at the meeting called “disgusting” and “nepotism,” the Henderson City Council unanimously appointed Josh M. Reid, U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s son, to be the next city attorney.

Josh Reid, chosen by a 4-0 vote, will be paid a salary of up to $199,000 a year, not including

benefits. Council members also said they will add a one-year probation period for the position.

Members of the council cited Josh Reid’s experience in the private sector and a desire to bring in someone from outside of the city attorney’s office as reasons he stood out among the other candidates.

Reid and interim City Attorney Christine Guerci-Nyhus were the finalists for the job. Neither was at the meeting.

A number of people at Tuesday’s meeting said they felt Reid would be selected because of pressure from his father, who contacted some council members after his son applied for the job.”

The outcome says it all…Josh Reid is now the City Attorney for the metropolis of Henderson, Nevada.

And Harry Reid is grandstanding about Mitt Romney’s ancient tax returns?
