HILLARY’S CONTINUATION OF OBAMA’S VERSION OF THE AMERICAN DREAM, OR TRUMP’S CONTINUATION OF OUR FOUNDING FATHER’S VERSION OF THE AMERICAN DREAM?

To understand someone’s intentions; ignore what they say, but pay close attention to what they do; and pay particular attention to the results of their actions. The biblical saying, “you will know them by their fruit” is quite instructive when it comes to Barrack Obama. If you haven’t noticed… his fruit is rotten. Everything has gotten worse since he has become president and it is by design, for how else would he “fundamentally change” our country?
He knows that as things get worse the American public is more and more likely to look to government to solve its problems, and so he will systematically divide us until we fall; and then predictably cry out to government to “fix” it, easily trading away our freedoms.
His words are of the feel good variety, they are soothing, seductive and pleasant to listen to, but they hide the stark reality of his true intentions and ultimate goals. His platitudes of social justice, and fairness will require you to surrender your liberty to an ever growing and ever more powerful government.
HERE’S WHY OBAMA WILL GET A THIRD TERM….
There is a strong likelihood that our next president will be the incumbent, Barry Soetoro, or – short of overhauling the 22nd amendment – whatever other liberal candidate the Democrats may produce. We conservatives and independents have pretty much sealed our fate and, if we continue as we don’t have a snowball’s chance in perdition of ever again occupying the nation’s chief office. My prediction is just as unpleasant to me as it may be to any of my readers. Nevertheless, those are my sentiments, and I would almost be willing to take bets on the accuracy of my words.

First off, conservatives have allowed themselves to completely fall asleep at the switch. In our resting on the fantasy that everyone else basically thinks as we do, we went and forgot that the price of freedom really is constant vigilance. All this time, while we were driving back and forth to work, paying bills, and saving what we could for a rainy day, we lost sight of the fact that there is a growing crowd of people out there who genuinely want only to work the system and collect a paycheck for doing nothing. We’ve allowed our history lessons to fade off into uselessness as we’ve ignored the truth that ‘liberalism’ is just the soft-boiled precursor to socialism and slavery. We let slide Lincoln’s dire warning about the recurrent reality of lazy tyrants consuming the fruits of the working diligent. And now we are walking right into that reality with our own government freshly wired to give muscle to the lazy tyrants.
Professional, power-hungry politicians and their constituency comprise the lazy tyrants. Both are seeking after their own bottomless ATM cards, which they fully intend to supply from the labors of the working diligent.
Our current president and his entire administrative staff/enablers are the living example of how this racket works: Use the taxpayers’ money to buy votes from the burgeoning swarm who are convinced their votes will ensure their leader’s promised panacea. This old formula is job security for the leftist politician – since, after all, what parasite in his right mind would shoot himself in the foot by voting against his own free ride? It’s a circular plan that must eventually crash because nobody – none of the working diligent, anyway – is stupid enough to keep on laboring in order to underwrite someone else’s dreams.
Eventually, the cobweb of liberalism’s pitched fantasy is bound to collapse when the bank finally calls and reports that all available resources are depleted. When that happens, history shows, the fattened politicians simply pack up shop and head for cover – and the lightheaded mob that voted them into office is once again left destitute and holding the bag (an empty bag).
Tragically, in the process of chasing a mirage, our rights and freedoms will have been lost in that fool’s bargain.
As all this drama unfolds, the bigger picture of social collapse and revolution will naturally take on a life of its own. A new, desperately clamoring throng emerges looking for someone to save the day. And, because our determined and methodical president has prepared himself for just such a day, we’ll then painfully discover that he holds all the cards.
If Marx and the big names of socialism could be assembled to review the moves reformer Obama has made up to this point, they would joyously stand and give him a teary-eyed ovation for having installed – in just seven plus fast years – every cog of the sinister machine that had been designed to demolish our free capitalist West. And he did all that without so much as even a genuinely threatening investigation from our generally spineless Congress.
Predicting our downfall is not anything that I ever wanted to write. Indeed, just a few years back, I still hadn’t imagined that we would ever really allow the things we have without a fight. But we have.
Years ago, whoever coined the term ‘silent majority’ should have been taken out in the street and horsewhipped. That senseless title gave an air of virtuous credential to the indolent conservative who enjoyed suddenly feeling justified in his laziness. Rather than periodically leaving the comfort of his Barcalounger, beer, and remote – and even minimally participating in our dying democracy – he was handed a lofty-sounding indulgence that seemed to accommodate his selfish, personal peace.
Now we’re ambling along under the misconception that the right conservative candidate will somehow unwind the effects of our sloth and turn everything around for the better. But, even if we found such a man, that won’t work – given that most of us can’t seem to be bothered with even making it to the polls now and then.

Donald Trump may or may not fix his campaign, and Hillary Clinton may or may not become the first female president. But something else happening before our eyes is almost as important: the complete collapse of American journalism as we know it.
The frenzy to bury Trump is not limited to the Clinton campaign and the Obama White House! They are working hand in hand with what was considered the cream of the nation’s news organizations.
The shameful display of naked partisanship by the elite media is unlike anything seen in modern America.
The largest broadcast networks — CBS, NBC and ABC — and major newspapers like the New York Times and Washington Post have jettisoned all pretense of fair play. Their fierce determination to keep Trump out of the Oval Office has no precedent.
Indeed, no foreign enemy, no terror group, no native criminal gang suffers the daily beating that Trump does. The mad mullahs of Iran, who call America the Great Satan and vow to wipe Israel off the map, are treated gently by comparison.
By torching its remaining credibility in service of Clinton, the mainstream media’s reputations will likely never recover, nor will the standards. No future producer, editor, reporter or anchor can be expected to meet a test of fairness when that standard has been trashed in such willful and blatant fashion.
Liberal bias in journalism is often baked into the cake. The traditional ethos of comforting the afflicted and afflicting the comfortable leads to demands that government solve every problem. Favoring big government, then, becomes routine among most journalists, especially young ones.
I know because I was one of them. I started at the Times while the Vietnam War and civil rights movement raged, and was full of certainty about right and wrong.
My editors were, too, though in a different way. Our boss of bosses, the legendary Abe Rosenthal, knew his reporters leaned left, so he leaned right to “keep the paper straight.”
That meant the Times, except for the opinion pages, was scrubbed free of reporters’ political views, an edict that was enforced by giving the opinion and news operations separate editors. The church-and-state structure was one reason the Times was considered the flagship of journalism.
Those days are gone. The Times now is so out of the closet as a Clinton shill that it is giving itself permission to violate any semblance of evenhandedness in its news pages as well as its opinion pages.
A recent article by its media reporter, Jim Rutenberg, whom I know and like, began this way: “If you’re a working journalist and you believe that Donald J. Trump is a demagogue playing to the nation’s worst racist and nationalistic tendencies, that he cozies up to anti-American dictators and that he would be dangerous with control of the United States nuclear codes, how the heck are you supposed to cover him?”
Whoa, Nellie. The clear assumption is that many reporters see Trump that way, and it is noteworthy that no similar question is raised about Clinton, whose scandals are deserving only of “scrutiny.” Rutenberg approvingly cites a leftist journalist who calls one candidate “normal” and the other “abnormal.”
Clinton is hardly “normal” to the 68 percent of Americans who find her dishonest and untrustworthy, though apparently not a single one of those people writes for the Times. Statistically, that makes the Times “abnormal.”
Also, you don’t need to be a detective to hear echoes in that first paragraph of Clinton speeches and ads, including those featured prominently on the Times’ website. In effect, the paper has seamlessly adopted Clinton’s view as its own, then tries to justify its coverage.
It’s an impossible task, and Rutenberg fails because he must. Any reporter who agrees with Clinton about Trump has no business covering either candidate.
It’s pure bias, which the Times fancies itself an expert in detecting in others, but is blissfully tolerant of in itself. And with the top political editor quoted in the story as approving the one-sided coverage as necessary and deserving, the prejudice is now official policy.
It’s a historic mistake and a complete break with the paper’s own traditions. Instead of dropping its standards, the Times should bend over backwards to enforce them, even while acknowledging that Trump is a rare breed. That’s the whole point of standards — they are designed to guide decisions not just in easy cases, but in all cases, to preserve trust.
The Times, of course, is not alone in becoming unhinged over Trump, but that’s also the point. It used to be unique because of its adherence to fairness.
Now it’s only standard is a double standard, one that it proudly confesses. Shame would be more appropriate!
However, if American falls, historians won’t have to speculate because the problems that are destroying our country are right there for anyone to see. You want to know how to break the greatest nation the world has ever seen over the course of a few short decades? Just look at what we’re actually doing because future generations will point to it when they’re trying to figure out where we went wrong!
1) USUSTAINABLE DEBT: By 2020, projections indicate that we’d need 20% of the GDP of the ENTIRE PLANET just to finance our debt, which will continue to increase at a rapid pace. Despite the fact that it would require a miracle bigger than what Joan of Arc accomplished in order for Social Security and Medicare to function for another 20 years without enormous tax increases, we just added another costly entitlement program (Obamacare) and politicians are incessantly clamoring for new spending. Simply put, that is unsustainable over the long haul and without almost revolutionary changes that are currently politically unimaginable, our country will either go bankrupt or our money will be inflated so much that we’ll need wheelbarrows full of greenbacks to buy a loaf of bread.
2) ENORMOUS CENTRALIZED GOVERNMENT: The bigger the tick, the less blood there is for the dog and there is no larger collection of blood suckers on Planet Earth than our own federal government. Our government has become so massive that lawmakers don’t even read the bills they pass any more, trivial changes to regulations made by unelected bureaucrats can drive productive businesses into bankruptcy and perhaps worst of all, 49% of the public gets benefits. That has not only bled the private sector and made our economy less dynamic, it has led to massive corruption. As P.J. O’Rourke said, “When buying and selling are controlled by legislation, the first things to be bought and sold are legislators.”
3) AN OVERLY-PROGRESSIVE INCOME TAX CODE: There are a lot of ramifications to almost half of all Americans paying no income taxes and few of them are good. There are few brakes on high income taxes because half the country isn’t impacted at all. Moreover, the progressive nature of the tax code stifles movement between economic classes. It’s a lot harder to go from “rags to riches” when the government starts looting you like a Somali pirate the moment you make any real income. Additionally, if half of Americans aren’t paying “their fair share,” then the other half has to overpay to make up for it. That reduces investment and production from the people in the best position to create jobs, thus lowing economic output even further. What happens when the tax code gets so skewed that the “takers” outnumber the “makers” in the United States? We’re getting very close to that tipping point and it’s doubtful that we’ll like the answer when we find out.
4) MORAL DECAY: It’s highly ironic that Americans have pushed Christianity to the side and embraced an, “If it feels good, not only is it okay to do it, but other people should celebrate you for it,” mentality at the very moment America is being decimated by a profound moral crisis. It’s no coincidence that America has the largest prison population in the world, drug use is rampant, 41% of births are out-of-wedlock and mass murders have become all too common in a Christian nation that has turned its back on God. As our nation becomes increasingly decadent, we’re learning what John Adams meant when he said, “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”
5) BACKWARD IMMIGRATION POLICIES: When America is still considered the most desirable place to live on the planet, immigration should be a huge boon to the country. At times in our nation’s past it certainly was, but today this potential source of strength is a wash at best and a drag on the country at worst.
For example, did you know that, “in 2010, 36 percent of immigrant-headed households receive benefits from at least one welfare program, compared to just 23 percent of households headed by U.S. natives. Among households with children, immigrant welfare households outnumbered non-immigrants by a similarly wide margin: 57 percent to 40 percent.”
The percentage of immigrants on welfare should be zero. After all, why would we want to bring someone into our country who’s going to end up on the dole?
WE HAVE BARACK OBAMA, HILLARY CLINTON, A BIPARTISAN GLOBALIST CONGRESS, A SUPREME COURT THAT FOLLOWS THE LAW OF INTENT INSTEAD OF THE LETTER OF THE LAW, A MEDIA THAT ONLY PUBLISHES WHAT IT’S ‘PAID TO REPORT’, AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST, THE AMERICAN PEOPLE WHO HAVE ALLOWED THIS TO HAPPEN TO AMERICA BY BEING ASLEEP AT THE WHEEL!!
