SUNDAY SAMPLER: THE UNEMPLOYMENT NUMBERS, ….  ‘THE ART OF THE WHOPPER!’
With the protection of both political parties, the ‘Paid to Report’ Media, and the likes of Reverend Wright, and Bill Ayres, how can anyone believe anything this President says when perpetrating lies about his self-touting Pro American Legacy? ‘Fool me once shame on me, fool me twice shame on you,’ and with these two blatant lies the American People should have a good idea of what our Government is willing to do to take away our exceptional status in the world and have us succumb to mediocracy and political correctness!

◾First President to apply for college aid as a foreign student, then deny he was a foreigner.

◾First President to have a social security number from a state he has never lived in.

With one eye on his historical legacy and another on this year’s election, President Obama traveled to a sentimental spot in Indiana to trumpet his record on the economy. 

Speaking in Elkhart, Ind. — a city he visited during his first year in office in 2009, in the midst of the recession-triggering financial crisis — Obama plans to stress the decline of the unemployment rate and steady increases in job growth during his two terms in office, officials said.

“It’s the American people who deserve credit for our recovery,” White House spokesman Josh Earnest said. “But that recovery would not have been possible without the federal government making smart decisions to invest in the middle class, to invest in those aspects of our economy that are critical to our longer-term success.”
If you are falling for this town crier’s version of Elkhart, Indiana, then you’re the same type of person who agreed with Obama and Eric Holder’s condemnation of the police officer, Darren Wilson, in the death of Michael Brown before the facts came out, then you are the one that have to reexamine your own core beliefs!

So there was Mr. Obama taking his victory lap in Indiana. The fairytale he was peddling – warmly embraced and repeated by the mainstream media of course – was that Elkhart’s economic rebound was solely due to the wondrous actions (bailouts, stimulus spending, ObamaCare!!) of his administration. –
Just more of the audacious B.S. we’ve come to know and love over the last seven years; although this latest assertion takes “audacious” to a whole new level because his claim doesn’t have a glimmer of truth to it. In fact, Elkhart’s economic turnaround happened in spite of everything the O’Ministration has done.
In this excellent article at The Elkhart Truth, Indiana’s governor Mike Pence straightens out Mr. Audacious. Pence rightly credits the Hoosier spirit and not federal policies for helping turn around Elkhart County’s economy ~ 
Mr. President, we welcome you back to Elkhart since your first visit since 2009. I believe the people of Elkhart and my fellow Hoosiers have brought our economy back in spite of the burdens that higher taxes, mandates and increasing regulations from Washington, D.C. have placed on them. Our state has experienced an economic comeback because the story in Indiana has been very different.

Since I became governor in January 2013, we have worked every day to lower the burden of taxes and regulations so businesses large and small can focus on jobs and growth instead of worrying about the burden of their state government. 
We have balanced two budgets, cut taxes every year including the largest state income tax cut in Indiana history. We repealed the inheritance tax, maintained strong reserves and invested more than $2.0 billion in our state’s infrastructure to support a growing economy.
We have also made education for our current workforce and the next generation the top priority, with record investments in education while making career and technical education a priority in every high school in Indiana again. The high school graduation rate has reached nearly 88 percent, seventh best in the nation and for the first time in Indiana’s history, we invested in early learning programs for disadvantaged kids and have one of the largest school voucher program in America. 
All of these efforts have not gone unnoticed. Indiana was recently recognized by Chief Executive Magazine as the number one state in the Midwest for business, and fifth in the nation.
Other factors that helped boost Elkhart’s recovery – and had absolutely nothing to do with Obama’s economy-killing policies – were 1.) the fracking phenomenon which not only lowered fuel prices making RV’ing more affordable, the fracking industry itself was a big consumer of RVs; and 2.) Indiana passed “Right-to-Work” legislation in 2012, freeing employees from union restrictions and quickly reducing the unemployment rate.

Instead of taking illegitimate credit for Indiana’s rebound wouldn’t it be nice if Obama had the wisdom and humility to learn from the Hoosier state’s example? Dream on :( 
But we do have to give the president his due – the man really is the most outrageous liar to ever occupy the Oval Office.

                       REALITY EXPOSES THE LIE OF THE OFFICIAL UNEMPLOYMENT RATE!

Telling lies with statistics is so easy even a politician can do it. An economist named Darrell Huff once wrote a best-seller about it, “How to Lie With Statistics.” Harry S. Truman identified three kinds of lies, “lies, damned lies, and statistics.” That was more than a half-century ago, and the art and science of prevarication have only been improved through frequent use.
President Obama won the “Lie of the Year Award” in 2013, given by the fact-checking team at the Tampa Bay Times (“if you like your health care plan you can keep it”), and he has taken an early lead this year with his claim that he has produced a “robust economy” with an unemployment rate that has fallen under 5 percent. In his State of the Union address last month, Mr. Obama said the jobless rate “is now lower than it was before the financial crisis” of 2007-2008. That’s a lie by statistic.
The Labor Department in its monthly unemployment rate, reported Friday, said that the jobless rate was down .3 percent to 4.7 percent in May, which it attributes to those who had stopped looking for work now re-entering the labor market, encouraged by a “booming” economy. Mr. Obama attributes the “boom” to his big-spending ways, and his 2016 budget calls for more poison.
Unlike the “official” jobless rate, the Labor Department’s so-called “U-6” unemployment rate includes those working part time but who want a full-time job and can’t find one. The U-6 rate stood at 13.8 (Gallup) percent in May, nearly 3 times the official rate.

Mr. Obama’s claim of a robust jobless rate takes no account of the record 94.4 million Americans no longer in the labor force. The labor participation rate was 62.6 percent in May, another low that recalled the “economic malaise” of the Carter presidency.
The administration’s jobless-rate claims fool no one beyond the Beltway, and certainly not Jim Clifton, the president and CEO of the Gallup polling organization. Mr. Clifton calls the 4.7 percent unemployment rate “the Big Lie.” Chastising mainstream media and Wall Street for “cheerleading for this number,” he says it’s “extremely misleading.”
Mr. Clifton notes the inconvenient truth that if someone is “so hopelessly out of work that you’ve stopped looking [for a job] over the past four weeks,” the Labor Department “doesn’t count you as unemployed.” If you work one hour a week and are paid at least $20, “you’re not officially counted as unemployed” in the under 6 percent figure.
Separately, Gallup reported Thursday that its own measure of underemployment stood at 13.8 percent for May. Gallup calculates the underemployment rate by combining the percentage of adults in the workforce who are unemployed with those who are working part time but want full-time work.
“Right now, as many as 30+ million Americans are either out of work or severely underemployed,” Mr. Clifton says. “Trust me, the vast majority of them aren’t throwing parties to toast ‘falling’ unemployment.”

The Obama administration continues to tout the 4.7 percent jobless rate while a record number of discouraged Americans have dropped out of the labor market. What does it say about Mr. Obama, who promised the most “transparent” administration ever, that he touts jobless numbers so transparently phony? It’s par for a president who claims credit for cutting “our deficits … by two-thirds” after expanding them to record levels. Even the excuse of “statistics” can’t cover such whoppers.
