The media have lost their minds after Trump's magnificent speech on Monday. It's all hands on deck, no attack is too extreme. Their main point is: DO NOT LOOK AT THAT SPEECH. It has "words that wound." Much too dangerous even to read it.
Instead of reporting what Trump said, the media give us the "gist" of it (in the sense of an unrecognizable distortion). It was awful, Hitlerian, beneath our dignity as a nation. They lie about what he said and then attack their own lies as if they're attacking Trump.

The media began indignantly informing us that Trump was wrong because -- as The Washington Post put it: "The shooter was born in Queens to parents who emigrated from Afghanistan."
With the media, you're an "American" when you commit the worst mass shooing in U.S. history, an "Afghan" when you're applying to college. You're an "American" when you shoot up the San Bernardino community center, a "Pakistani" when you're offended by Trump's remarks. You're an "American" when you slaughter troops at Fort Hood, a "Muslim" when the Army realizes it can't fire you.
The Atlantic's Ron Fournier, Dispenser of Conventional Liberal Opinion, wrote an article on Trump's speech titled "A Victory Lap in Blood" that would make any social justice warrior proud.
Like the rest of the media's reviews of a speech they apparently didn't read, there were no quotes from Trump's speech. Instead, Fournier ran through a string of accusations, SJW-style: "You didn't call it," "You are helping ISIS recruit terrorists," "You are dividing Americans ..."
No matter who it is that skews the facts, Trump continues to come out clean, honest and the only one telling it like it is!
Truth eventually comes out, no matter how it is skewed. Dishonest people can never back up their lies with hard facts. They trip up and fail every time.

3. She was named after Sir Edmund Hillary, one of the first two men to climb Mt. Everest. This one’s just embarrassing. Sir Hillary didn’t actually climb Mt. Everest (AKA, achieve any fame worth naming a child after) until Hillary Clinton was 6 years old. Ouch. So either Hillary’s mom was lying about her namesake Hillary’s entire life, or she waited until Hillary was 6 to name her, or Hillary just, you know, misspoke. Again.
4. Her family was dead broke when they left the White House. They only made $12 MILLION the year after Bill Clinton’s presidency. I guess when you’re used to the taxpayers’ billions funding your vacations, private airfare, and security, food, housing, and all, a measly few million could be a rough adjustment, huh?
5. She claims to have been instrumental in the Northern Ireland peace process. Except those who actually were at the negotiating table say Hillary was nowhere to be seen…

It is the job of newspapers to report the truth, along with the relevant facts. Nothing more, nothing less. A tiny proportion of the vast reams of paper printed throughout the world, consider providing their readers with the whole truth.
Media, the so called fourth pillar of society, may as well drag it down the drain. Ideals are for the initiate; the veterans know how to gather TRPs. Facts don't sell, sensationalism does. So what if we miss out a few details here and there?
One of the best examples is the NewsHour. A loudmouthed gentleman, with a holier than thou art attitude, a self-proclaimed crusader for justice, conducts this show. Here, statements like "let me read out a few facts which will demolish your argument", "how dare you accuse us?", and "I refuse to listen to your arguments" are a few examples, very becoming of a debate. You'd usually have one scapegoat, who'll be mowed over by a bunch of people who agree with the anchor's views.
Arguments are unheard and ignored, misheard and misquoted, or misunderstood and berated. The quality of the debate is on par with parliamentary decorum.

The biggest blow to media neutrality perhaps comes from the Radia Tapes controversy. Journalists were used to "plant stories", fabricate columns and in general nuke their ethics.
It is disheartening. This is also not an indigenous phenomenon, and throughout the world we hear of biased and disgustingly sensationalist media, like Fox, CNN, The Sun so many, too many.

For decades, the mainstream media in the United States was accustomed to being able to tell the American people what to think. Unfortunately for them, a whole lot of Americans are starting to break free from that paradigm and think for themselves. A Gallup survey from earlier this year found that 60 percent of all Americans “have little or no trust” in the mainstream media. More people than ever are realizing that the mainstream media is giving them a very distorted version of “the truth” and they are increasingly seeking out alternative sources of information. In the United States today, just six giant media corporations control the mainstream media. Those giant media corporations own television networks, cable channels, movie studios, radio stations, newspapers, magazines, publishing houses, music labels and even many prominent websites. But now thanks to the Internet the mainstream media no longer has a complete monopoly on the news. In recent years the “alternative media” has exploded in popularity. People want to hear about the things that the mainstream media doesn’t really want to talk about. They want to hear news that is not filtered by corporate bosses and government censors. They want “the truth” and they know that they are not getting it from the mainstream media.
