TIME TO ALLOW 'OBAMACARE' TO COLLAPSE, AND LET AMERICA’S HEALTHCARE
FALL BACK ON AMERICA’S 7-YEAR-OLD PREEXISTING CONDITION, AND THE PRIVATE
SECTOR!
I don’t understand how the taxpayer has to be on the hook
for the progressive lefts failed healthcare program known as Obamacare, and
why, like Obama’s green agenda, which none of what Obama’s administration
backed has succeeded, has a record of 0 for 300, rather 0 for $6 Trillion in
taxpayer debt. Why would anyone want the government to step in to run an
industry that would be better suited for the private sector? I didn’t see the
left looking to help those the people who were working for those ‘green’ agenda
industries that went belly up, and I don’t think it’s the Republican’s
responsibility to correct the biggest mistake ever passed in American history,
and then expect the Trump Administration and the Republican Party, who by the
way didn’t have one member of congress vote for it, and basically bypassed for
the greater good of the American people, and Obama’s socialist agenda! Why
should the Trump Administration and the American taxpayer do anything for
Obama’s signature legislation and legacy after Democrats washed their hands of
the American people, and the American people’s healthcare needs!
I think what people are forgetting is that there is a
private sector out there, you remember them, right, well you have to believe, unlike the
Democrats who are sitting around and picking their noses and not volunteering
their help in getting healthcare right for America, that the private sector is
concocting multiple plans and solutions to the Obamacare death spiral before
it’s officially dead, and waiting on the bench to be called in to do what they
do best, insure the American people, which they have been doing for
generations! So, I say let it fail, and let the private sector pick up the
pieces and custom write the individual plans that fit what the individual
consumer needs for himself and their families, and repeal all tax and fine mandates
in Obamacare, let it collapse, and use the Trillion dollars that will be freed
up for tax reform and be available for tax cuts, and small business
incentives!
Chuck-e 'Cheesy' Schumer, after the CNN's 'Fake News' reveal, all of a sudden, wants to get together with the Republicans and hash out a fix for Obamacare! I think the reason is that he's now forced to throw in the towel and concede that the 'left' is not going to get off the hook for the worst partisan legislation in the history of America and the American people, and now sees the writing on the wall. I say too late, and for your treasonous acts against the America people and their healthcare needs, needs to sit the F**k down and shut up. Chuck-e's Progressive left will 'NOT' get that chance to get credit for the repeal and replacement of Obamacare, but go down with the ship that he helped to defend when Obama was at the helm!
It’s time for the Republicans and President Trump to move on
to tax reform, and that’s because if Obamacare collapses, which it is, then the
free market and individual states will have to step in and address the
individual issues that affect each individual state. There is nowhere in the Constitution
where there ever was a directive that the Federal Government should and must
have anything to do with healthcare or the individual mandates that Obamacare
forced down the throats of America. The left keeps calling Social Security, and
Medicare entitlements, but what gets me is that it is a ‘paid’ for, through
donations out of individual’s paychecks for a lifetime, and not an entitlement! Medicaid is the safety
net, and an entitlement for the members of society who are not as fortunate, and stuck in poverty!
When it comes from the left, it doesn’t have to be about
healthcare, but anything that has to do with the government and taxpayer’s
money paying for anything and everything they deem necessary, and then giving it away to the
fraudulent schemes and scammers who have figured out how to work the system.
It’s never about the ones in need, and that’s because there’s plenty of money
for them, but more about the fraud that excuses able bodied men from working,
millennials from stepping up to the plate to run their own lives, and the
illegal unvetted immigrants and refugees who do nothing for America other than
live off the generosity of the 'left's' vote buying schemes!
It's gotten so bad with the healthcare handouts, that
people won’t go back to work in fear that they will lose their government
provided healthcare benefits, especially when Obama decided to make small
business employers responsible for their employers benefits when he okayed the
lowering of the definition of full time employment to 30 hours compared to
previous accepted 40 hours. What ever happened to personal responsibility being involved with any
benefits that are being paid for by the taxpayer whose due diligence has afforded
them a deserved 'step upto the benefits of the middle class, but stymied
because of their obligation to the ones that don’t work, and through increased
payroll taxes, and subsidizes, lives 'free of charge' off the sweat and labor of honest hard working Americans!
What’s really scary here is that the ‘left’ doesn’t only
consider anyone that didn’t vote for Hillary deplorable, but considers the
average American stupid and unable to control their own life, or the lives’ of
the ones he or she loves and supports. When can any and every American let everyone
live and let live without the interference of government’s intervention into
the individual beliefs and ideals of everyone’s personal American Dream?
Have you ever noticed, when it comes to transforming
America to Socialism, the whole Progressive Democratic party falls into line to
‘damn the torpedoes, and full speed ahead’ while not caring about what their
constituency thinks, or cares about, while the 'right' would rather be known as the ‘kneeling and
capitulating’ conservative party who got a chance for the first time in history
to be part of the new ‘American First’ Party that can, and will, put America back
on the world stage in a leadership role, but seem more interested in staying
relevant, being spineless, and keeping their jobs more, then doing what’s right for the future of
America, and the American people!
The only answer I can see to this problem is ‘mandatory’
term limits for every congressperson in both the House and Senate, and if you
think they will vote for such a law on their own would be crazy to believe, but if we, the
American voter would take it upon themselves to consciously enforce that
mandate automatically every 12 years, then we would have taken back our
government, and the control needed to follow the mandate that our founding
fathers set into motion some 240 plus years ago! Did you know that 227 members of Congress, if there
was a 12-year term limit, wouldn’t be in office today, and did you know that
most of the feckless leadership of the bipartisan ‘swamp’ have been there for
more than 12 years? Hmmm, ... food for thought!
AGAIN!!: The Republicans don’t need to repeal Obamacare,
but like Obama did changing the law some 40 times unconstitutionally through executive orders, and after Obamacare was already a law, is what President Trump, through executive order, should do to strip out the tax and penalty mandates using his version of the Obama’s ‘Phone and Pen,” after all, there is precedent with both the Reid and Obama ‘nuclear option,’ and Obama adding his fix all’s to the ‘Affordable Healthcare Act’ after it was already law!! It’s time to move on to tax reform and strip the tax mandates through either executive order or repeal, and use those now non-committed freed up funds to business and incentives, and applying them to tax reform to help make America's economy great again!

Aren’t you tired of the B.S. when both parties declare
everything they do is for the American people, and that the American people
should know, or have a right, or in the American people’s best interest, but
rather see them follow the Constitution as written, enforce the rule of law,
and do what we sent you to do when we elected you and sent you to Washington.
Socialism, if you didn’t know this, is about anything you get for ‘free’ from the government that makes you dependent on the government, and buys your vote, and every time you get something for free you believe and expect that those benefits will always be there! I guess that's just one less thing you have to worry about supplying your family, and their future, is more important than self-worth and self-determination, while putting your own path and future aspirations on hold.
Small increments of
‘free’ stuff is what the left have been doing for decades, and even
generations. The money for the 'free' stuff comes from the tax and regulations imposed on Americas corporations and individuals that have
realized the American dream, and then taxed away for the 'free' stuff instead of being used to create jobs and keeping our innovated companies and corporations
here on American soil. free give-a-way government incentives
lure the unsuspecting American people in to a sense of wellbeing, and
contentment, but this bait and switch is all about that personal invitation and
introduction to ‘free’ things, and considered the bait, while the switch is Socialism
replacing our 240 plus year old ‘Constitutional Republic!’ Socialism, if you didn’t know this, is about anything you get for ‘free’ from the government that makes you dependent on the government, and buys your vote, and every time you get something for free you believe and expect that those benefits will always be there! I guess that's just one less thing you have to worry about supplying your family, and their future, is more important than self-worth and self-determination, while putting your own path and future aspirations on hold.
If we could just eliminate the last 8 years, and do that
because of the fraud committed by the Globalist powers to be, then America
could get back to what America does best, and that’s leading, and not like Obama who
choses to lead from behind while stripping our military of the things that made
us the most powerful and respected country in the world, but from ahead where the world is happy to have us back in the saddle! Healthcare needs to be dealt with, but if you think that the left gives a shit, and wouldn't rather have you and your family dependent on the government for everything you need, then this outsider non-politician's 'New' America First Political Party, then I guess this is nothing you want to be part of, and for that, I'm sorry for your misguided belief in what this country's future possibilities can be.
Charles Krauthammer got it right, and if you
missed it then check out the following:
Tuesday on Fox News Channel’s “Special Report,” Washington
Post columnist Charles Krauthammer dismissed the
suggestion that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s (R-KY) inability to
bring the Senate GOP health care legislation up for a vote this week and
postponing it until after the Fourth of July holiday was for no other reason
that people not wanting entitlements from Obamacare to go away.
Krauthammer blamed the Obamacare expansion of Medicaid and
not a failure of communication or a lack of communication between the
leaderships of the two chambers of Congress for McConnell’s shortcoming.
“Their problem is not — forgive me — this is not a failure
of communication as in ‘Cool Hand Luke,'” he explained. “This is a failure of
expectations. The country does not want to see the entitlements that were
handed out by Obamacare retracted. That’s the issue. It’s not communication.
It’s not the lack of coordination between the House and Senate. It’s the fact
that Medicare was inflated. It was supposed to be for women and poor children
and the disabled. It was inflated by Obama to include able-bodied workers up to
400 percent of the poverty line. So, this is completely out of its original
intent.”
“The fight now, and the reason a lot of moderate Republicans
are scared is because under this bill it goes from 400 percent down to 350
percent,” Krauthammer continued. “This is a marginal retrenchment of what makes
you eligible for Medicaid. And people are used to what was. They don’t want to
give it back. That’s the reason that Obamacare repeal is in trouble. The
country is not where it was seven years ago. It’s the reason that the left
usually wins, because when you hand out goodies since the New Deal, it is
extremely hard to bring them back. That’s the core issue here.” ~~By Jeff Poor,
a Friend of America!
According to the Progressive left, Obamacare’s replacement
effort is that it would result in thousands of deaths. It's a tax cut paid for with "blood
money," fumes racial-hoax propagator Elizabeth Warren. It's "evil" sneers incurable
demagogue Chris Murphy. The GOP is
setting itself up to be the "death party," scolds twice-failed
presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
A number of these arguments are traced back to the bill's
"mean" cuts to Medicaid, a government program originally designated
to serve America's poorest and most vulnerable citizens.
Medicaid was failing on the merits before Obamacare expanded it to include millions of new people, many of them able-bodied childless adults living well above the poverty line. And thus, new strains were placed on a hugely expensive program already suffering from poor health outcomes and constraints on access to care. Here are a few succinct expositions of the compounded unfairness of Obamacare's Medicaid expansion, via Yuval Levin and the Wall Street Journal editorial board, both of whom I quoted earlier.

Today, people newly covered by Obamacare’s Medicaid
expansion (who tend to be childless adults with relatively higher incomes than
the non-expansion population) are funded by the federal government on much better
terms than the traditional Medicaid population (which tends to include more
women with children and people with even lower incomes)...the Senate bill would
gradually equalize funding for the two groups, effectively shifting Medicaid’s
focus back to the most vulnerable of its beneficiaries. In states that respond
to that by pulling back the expansion—and for states that have not pursued an
expansion—the fact that the [GOP bill's tax credits] now [go] all the way down
[to the bottom of the income scale] means the Senate bill would provide an
income and age-based subsidy that would allow these lowest-income individuals
to afford at least modest insurance coverage in the individual market. ~~
Obama has time and time again failed the American People for
the sake of his own legacy, and the transformation of America to Socialist Saul Alinsky, and Obama and Hillary's mentor's commitment to Socialism. We are the ones that have to pick
up the pieces, reverse the trend that Hillary would have continued with, and
make America great again. Obama used interpretation and intent to bypass the
Constitution, rule of law, and congress, and then used trickery and deception to
divert taxpayer’s funds to the programs that he felt supported his agenda, so, be thankful that President Trump's first major legislation, even though the Progressive left says he hasn't passed any of his major promised legislation, is just beating Hillary and the alt-left, and saving America and the Supreme Court from the Socialist leaning progressive's agenda, and to me, that's the biggest major legislation that he will ever get passed!
OBAMACARE ROBS MEDICARE OF $716 BILLION TO FUND ITSELF! (2012 FLASHBACK)
Last week, a new Congressional Budget Office (CBO) report
updated the amount of money Obamacare robs out of Medicare from $500 billion to
a whopping $716 billion between 2013 and 2022.
According to the CBO, the payment cuts in Medicare include:
•A $260 billion payment cut for hospital services.
•A $39 billion payment cut for skilled nursing services.
•A $17 billion payment cut for hospice services.
•A $66 billion payment cut for home health services.
•A $33 billion payment cut for all other services.
•A $156 billion cut in payment rates in Medicare Advantage
(MA); $156 billion is before considering interactions with other provisions.
The House Ways and Means Committee was able to include interactions with other
provisions, estimating the cuts to MA to be even higher, coming in at $308
billion.
•$56 billion in cuts for disproportionate share hospital
(DSH) payments. * DSH payments go to hospitals that serve a large number of
low-income patients.
•$114 billion in other provisions pertaining to Medicare,
Medicaid, and CHIP* (does not include coverage-related provisions).
*Subtract $25 billion total between DSH payments and other
provisions for spending that was cut from Medicaid and CHIP.
In total, Obamacare raids Medicare by $716 billion from 2013
to 2022. Despite Medicare facing a 75-year unfunded obligation of $37 trillion,
Obamacare uses the savings from the cuts to pay for other provisions in
Obamacare, not to help shore up Medicare’s finances.
The impact of these cuts will be detrimental to seniors’
access to care. The Medicare trustees 2012 report concludes that these lower
Medicare payment rates will cause an estimated 15 percent of hospitals, skilled
nursing facilities, and home health agencies to operate at a loss by 2019, 25
percent to operate at a loss in 2030, and 40 percent by 2050. Operating at a
loss means these facilities are likely to cut back their services to Medicare
patients or close their doors, making it more difficult for seniors to access
these services.
In addition, as MA deteriorates under Obamacare’s cuts, many
of those who are enrolled in MA (27 percent of total Medicare beneficiaries)
will lose their current health coverage and be forced back into traditional
Medicare, where Medicare providers will be subject to further cuts. The Centers
for Medicare and Medicaid Services chief actuary predicted in 2010 that
enrollment in MA would decrease 50 percent by 2017, when Obamacare’s cuts were
estimated at only $145 billion. Now that the cuts have been increased to $156 billion
(or possibly $308 billion, as the Ways and Means Committee estimates), MA
enrollment will surely decrease even further.
But Obamacare’s raid of Medicare doesn’t stop with cuts; it
includes a redirection of tax revenue from the Medicare payroll tax hike in
Obamacare. The payroll tax funds Medicare Part A, the trust fund that is
projected to become insolvent as soon as 2024. Obamacare increases the tax from
2.9 percent to 3.8 percent, which is projected to cost taxpayers $318 billion
from 2013 to 2022. However, for the very first time, Obamacare does not use the
tax revenue from the increased Medicare payroll tax to pay for Medicare; the
money is used to fund other parts of Obamacare, much like the $716 billion in
cuts are.
With a raid on Medicare of this magnitude, President Obama’s
assertion that his new law is protecting seniors and Medicare is astonishing.
The truth is that Obamacare does the opposite. ~~By Alyene Senger, a Friend of America!
The Journal:
The budget will never balance, and debt will continue to
accumulate, if Congress can’t modernize entitlements...Liberals call block
grants heartless, but ObamaCare increased Medicaid enrollment by 29% to 74.5
million Americans—one of four citizens—in a program originally meant for poor
women and the disabled. Equalizing payments for these traditional beneficiaries
and ObamaCare’s new able-bodied adult enrollees above the poverty line is
uncaring only in liberal caricature. The real scandal is Medicaid’s poor health
outcomes and a funding formula that doesn’t encourage states to prioritize the neediest
Americans.
Republicans' plan would make Medicaid fiscally sustainable,
and gradually revert back to a model that prioritizes help to the poorest
people, who need the most help.
It's perverse that the federal government provides a more generous funding formula for Medicaid's better-off, better-situated expansion enrollees than the original, neediest population for whom Medicaid was supposedly created in the first place. And while the GOP proposal would reform the structure of the program by offering a capped per-capita annual allowance to each state (which would foster restraint, prioritization, innovation, and creativity), the notion that it makes drastic "cuts" to the overall program is deeply misleading. Former White House spokesman Ari Fleischer, frustrated by these word games, has been teeing off on this point.

This funding increase
of tens of billions of dollars is nevertheless cast as a "cut"
because it would spend less than Obamacare would. Beyond this point, a raft of data indicates
that in the aggregate (obviously, this does not apply to all individual cases),
Obamacare has not saved American lives.
In fact, life expectancy has dropped for the first time in decades under
the law, with particularly bad news in Obamacare Medicaid expansion states.
Public-health data from the Centers for Disease Control
confirm what one might expect from a health-care reform that expanded Medicaid
coverage for adults: no improvement. In fact, things have gotten worse.
Age-adjusted death rates in the U.S. have consistently declined for decades,
but in 2015 — unlike in 19 of the previous 20 years — they increased. For the
first time since 1993, life expectancy fell. Had mortality continued to decline
during ACA implementation in 2014 and 2015 at the same rate as during the
2000–13 period, 80,000 fewer Americans would have died in 2015 alone. Of
course, correlation between ACA implementation and increased mortality does not
prove causation. Researchers hypothesize that increases in obesity, diabetes,
and substance abuse may be responsible. But thanks to the roughly half of
states that refused the ACA’s Medicaid expansion, a good control group exists.
Surely the states that expanded Medicaid should at least perform better in this
environment of rising mortality? Nope. Mortality in 2015 rose more than 50
percent faster in the 26 states (and Washington, D.C.) that expanded Medicaid
during 2014 than in the 24 states that did not.
If conservatives were inclined to traffic in the same brand
of ugly, motive-impugning hysteria that many liberals have embraced on
healthcare, they could throw nuance and causation arguments to the wind and
simply shriek that Obamacare killed 80,000 Americans in 2015. And that politicians who expanded Medicaid
have even more blood on their heartless, cruel, murderous hands. By the way, is there evidence that Obamacare
actually has had a causal effect on increased death rates? A look at opioid abuse and overdose-related
death statistics suggests that yes, it is likely a contributing factor.
Read this entire thread, which provides in-depth data pointing to increases in insured rates (greatest in Medicaid expansion states), coinciding with a measurable, significant, commensurate uptick in drug overdose deaths. As NBC News recently reported, insured people have easier access to pills and drugs -- a fact that some terrible people have been capitalizing on by exploiting loopholes in well-meaning government programs to "rehabilitate" drug abusers. Looking at the information linked above, one could make a simplistic, accurate, and unfair argument that Obamacare is killing people, and that Obamacare boosters are responsible for tens of thousands of deaths. This is how the Left is currently demonizing Republicans. The more serious assessment would be to say that in a genuine attempt to mitigate problems X, Y and Z, Obamacare backers inadvertently opened a can of worms, leading to an explosion in problems A, B and C. The truth is that laws require trade-offs and can generate unforeseen consequences -- and healthcare represents an uniquely large, complex policy challenge. If only liberals would acknowledge these applicable dynamics when reviewing the GOP's Obamacare replacement proposals.
But as long as the debate over addressing Democrats' failing
healthcare experiment has degenerated into "you're selfish, uncaring,
blood-stained killers!" shouting, liberals should know that two can play
that nasty and counter-productive game, if necessary, and under their own
standards, their hands are dripping with the blood of 80,000 innocent Obamacare victims, or whatever. A less demagogic and entirely accurate approach would involve reminding Americans that Democrats lied to them incessantly while passing a healthcare scheme that is collapsing, harming millions, and getting worse. And that their so-called "solutions" entail ever more government, ever more spending -- and worse! ~~By Guy Benson
