When Trump brought up the ‘birther’ issue during Obama’s first run at the Presidency he was a prominent business man and doing what business men do, playing both sides of the debate, and the aisle! He backed down from his critique of Obama’s birth certificate because he wasn’t going to rock the boat and lose his insider privileges that come with the status of who he was!
